Hi
"A.J"
Great
to have found this site! I was a Redcoat at Filey in 1961,
and during the day I
worked in the Entertainments Office.

That's me -
Anne

And that's
me with
Rene,
outside a less salubrious place.

We always
ate with
the guests.

So far I've
been
under a tree, next to a lava-tree,
and now I'm with Lou.

If you are
thinking this is a bit OTT for a game of Bingo - you 'd be right.
It's a song and dance number we did in the Redcoat Show.
No.4 is me - Anne Cantwell. No.22 is
Valerie Round.
Some of the other Redcoats are: Rodney Willescroft, Eve McHugh, Shirley
Rashbrook, and Barbara Allport.

Teddy Foster &
his Orchestra were
the
resident
band in 1961.
His singer was Julie Rogers, who later went on to have a big hit record
in
1965 with "The Wedding."

It would be great
if some of the
others in
the
FILEY 1961 entertainments team get in touch.
My name then was
Anne
